Los Angeles – “City of Angels”

Venice Beach Boardwalk
The World-famous Venice Beach Boardwalk is not to be missed. If you are visiting the Los Angeles area, you owe it to yourself to come to Southern California’s number one visitor attraction. Stretching about one a half mile along the manicured sands of the Pacific Ocean, the boardwalk is a large part of what makes Venice unique. On the west side of the “walk” are hundreds of street vendors and performers. You can see everything from break-dancing to broken glass walking. Mimes to musicians, jugglers to jesters and everything in between make up the human landscape. You can have your fortune read, get a temporary tattoo or have your name written on a grain of rice. If souvenirs are what you are after, then the boardwalk is the place to go.

Santa Monica Pier
The Santa Monica Pier is unique; it contains Pacific Park, a family amusement park with its one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art, solar panels Ferris Wheel. There are also a lot of nice places to buy food, there’s a big arcade and there are great souvenir shops. With an iconic entrance, the pier is popular with residents and visitors as a landmark that is over 100 years old.

Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive

Beverly Hills is one of the most fashionable places in the world to shop. Rodeo Drive is one of the most well-known shopping streets with beautiful stores and you see the most exclusive cars drive by. When you’re visiting Beverly Hills, you cannot miss the Beverly Wilshire hotel – a lot of celebrities have stayed here; John Lennon, Elvis Presley and more. Nowadays it’s also called the “Pretty Woman Hotel” because the famous film Pretty Woman was partly filmed here, starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.

Hollywood Walk of Fame
These sidewalk “stars” salute the celebrities who made Hollywood great. They honor not only movie actors, but radio, TV, & stage performers, directors, singers, songwriters, and other well-known showbiz personalities. There are stars honoring famous celebrities from the past, but also from the present. “You can see all the STARS on Hollywood Blvd!” Go and find the celebrity you admire to take a great picture!

Six Flags Magic Mountain
With 19 roller coasters, Six Flags Magic Mountain holds the world record for most roller coasters in an amusement park. Six Flags Magic Mountain is located 35 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles. In 2015, the park had an estimated 3.3 million visitors.
